[SOLVED] Why did my undervolt not work?

I have a brand new laptop that intel XTU says averages about 57°C when gaming, I have a coffee lake intel i7-9750H with an nvidia geforce rtx2060 and 16gb ram, the cpu temps were a little high sometimes peaking at 90°C for a second or two and thermal throttling a tad but I haven’t noticed any drop in game quality but I decided to undervolt because it can’t do any harm so I did by .090V ( the most it would allow) and the results are very minuscule, so much so I’m not sure they’re there. Is an average cpu temp of around 58°C anything I should worry about when gaming? Thanks for the help in advance.

Solution
For me it would be, but I'm not sure if its unusual in a gaming laptop. I don't use my laptop for such things. Perhaps someone with more experience there can chime in.
