Question Why did the SK Hynix Platinum P41 drop off the TH Best SSDs list?

I find that weird too, given how it is mentioned, in the WD Black SN850x. An alternative choice, to the P41 shouldn't be the honorable mention. The P41 should be the honorable mention, at the very least. RGB and heatsink availability aren't really reasons to buy. Most motherboards have said heatsink, and you would never see the RGB. I don't see people that buy such high end drives, buying cheap, no frills, motherboards, that lack at least one heatsink. Oh and for those buying the SN850x, if you do not intend on using the included heatsink, do not buy that model. Jayztwocents found out the hard way, that they glue the bottom of the drive, to the lower portion of the heatsink.

I think perhaps the reason it's worded that way is because the SN850x's entry was probably written when the P41 was on the list, and the person who removed it didn't remember to edit that out.

Still, if the P41 suddenly fell so far short that it no longer ranks at the top (it was reviewed in July before the SN850x came out), but if that is true then why didn't they provide another update about the P41? The original article was updated a few days later with more info on the 1 & 2 TB versions.

Perhaps what's on the list now is newer and better than the P41 and, thus, completely displaced it?
