Why do i always have 140ms ping and above (in games)

I play a PUBG , bo3 , csgo and a lot of other games.Why do i always get 120ms ping at maximum and never get lower.Almost all players in my lobby have 90 and below ping. Btw here is a test i did for my internet connection:

If you are the only one on your connection and you are not using it for other stuff while gaming I would talk to your ISP.

The other thing to consider is that you are likely playing on EU servers, which could give you a higher ping because of the geographic distance between you and the servers.

1. check updated network drivers.
2. scan for malware. turn off or uninstall amd/nvidia feedback software it just malware.
3. see what running at startup..try turning stuff off you dont need.
4. update your anti virus make sure your using a newer one with a newest engine.
5. check that your router/modem has newest firmware.
6. have an old router/modem. try plugging the pc int othe modem by itself see if the ping speed changes.

You are considered to be in the asia so you might get better pings playing on pubg asia servers?

Assuming that from your provider side is everything ok, assuming you have already pick the correct server, assuming you have the correctly configured and relatively new modem and/or router, do not use Wifi for online gaming. The ping is always high via Wifi.

Depending on the network equipment you've got... with my asus rc 3200 PCie card i get 30 ms ping in bf4 for example. on European servers.. though speed test gives me 60 up and 60 down and 4 ms ping...

i guess thats the thing...i get 140 ms ping in EU AND ASIA servers.Why does that happen arent i supposed to get better ping on asian servers?and is there anything to do to get better ping on us servers?

i am using an ethernet cable.(btw idk what it is called but it is another device(looks like a router) that extends your wifi's range.my pc is plugged into that And im literally the only one using the wifi (if im using wifi) and still....140ms ping and higher

There you have it, try directly connecting to your router with the ethernet cable and not via the extender...

You cannot get better ping because of your location. Sorry bro.

Basically the only way to reduce latency (ping) is to get as close as possible to the internet backbone of your country. Fibre will normally help. However, considering the fact that you have only 10ping to your local speedtest server it is unlikely that you will be able to reduce your latency by much.

The high ping can also be caused by internet monitoring policies by your government, not sure where you are (EDIT: just noticed "Dubai") but most countries in the middle east have some sort of monitoring in place.

Do you have local friends who also game on these servers? If so what ping do they have?

According to the post switching from Etisalat to Du reduced latency to EU from 140 ping to 115-140 ping. Not sure if you would want to switch to Du for a 20 ping latency reduction.

yes but and i have one friend that gets 17 ms ping in console(im on pc and i never got that).but i played with him a game on pc and he got 120-170ms just like me.Maybe console has like asian servers unlike the games i played on pc.

i already get about 120 ping on etisalat sometimes so i think its useless.So there is no solution?
