If you boot into your motherboard bios you should be able to find the advanced menu that shows you the integrated graphics settings. Depending on the bios, you can do things like limit the memory it can use, or even disable integrated graphics entirely. Make sure you connect your monitor to the graphics card, not the motherboard port.

+Decireth I wish you had listed your motherboard model number. Am I correct in assuming that you have four RAM slots and have two RAM chips installed? If so, could you check your motherboard manual and confirm that the DIMMs are installed in the correct slots? Sounds to me like one of the RAM chips may be in the wrong slot.

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. F2A55M-DS2 I guess this is my motherboard model number.

+Decireth My theory was wrong. Your Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2 motherboard only has two RAM slots.

Questions: This is a desktop and not a laptop, correct? Also, do you have a physical video card installed in this computer, or are you exclusively using the integrated graphics? I ask because I'm surprised that the system would reserve part of the system memory if you're using a graphics card.

Yes this is a desktop. I do have a physical video card installed. But i'm confused why do it still share Ram memory.

using a discrete GPU doesnt actually mean that the IGPu is disabled, if its not disabled the IGPu will still use some amount of system memory, you have to manually disable the IGPu from BIOS, also selecting Primary display as PCIE will not disable the IGP, also windows will use a fair amount of the system RAM

watch this video, when you enter bios, go to IGX configuration, and select disabled in internal graphic mode. save and exit... you will have to connect the display cable to your graphic card

Bios settings

I did exactly that. I have higher fps than before I had my graphics card. but I guess integrated graphics is still enabled even I disabled it because I still have 1.95 gb ram available / 4gb ram

ok then, in the bios, there will be an option for how much ram is used by the igp, set that to the lowest
