Why do I have 24 gigs of Ram installed and windows only shows 16GB usable ?

I am Running a 24GB capable motherboard using Windows 7 ULITIMATE 64.

What mobo, CPU and model # of the sicks? could be a few things (all what slots are what sticks in?)

^I'm guessing the answer is that the OP is running windows 7 home premium x64, which has a cap on RAM at 16GB.

That was a thought, but shows Win7 Ultimate, which shouldn't be a problem, guessing mismatched DRAM and need voltage adjustments, or possibly sticks placed incorrectly and an MC issue

Yes it is ULTIMATE 64. I have 6 sticks of matched G skill. Bought all in one package of triple channel 3 pairs.
I am running an EVGA Classified with a Intel 960.

Might try raising the DRAM voltage + 0.06 and raise the QPI/VTT voltage about the same (QPI/VTT is your memory controller voltage)
