Hi everyone
I have a "Tenda D301 v2" ADSL modem, and it was working just fine. untill recently I have this problem that everytime I unplug it or even turn it off, I have to reconfigure it, or can't connect to internet.
It's intersting to notice that after unplugging, the configuration seems right and it is not restored to default settings, but for an unknown reason, it cannot connect to internet, untill I reset settings and configure it again.
As in my country electricity goes off almost everyday, it's really annoying.

anybody has a solution?

Might be a good idea to introduce an UPS between the modem and the wall power output, something small, like a 600VA unit, well they don't come any smaller than that though.

I'm getting a 404 on Tenda's site, is your modem pending any firmware updates?

Thaks for your answer. I really don't want to add another device to solve this problem.

No, the firmware is in it's latest version.
