Why do I suddenly have all these problems since Windows update to 8.1?

I’ve updated from Windows 8.0 to 8.1 and in the task manager I see CPU and Memory are up a bit and I see multiple "Windows Problem Reporting" which is causing the little blue circle by the mouse cursor to flicker. But each only comes on for a second or two and then disappears, and others keep appearing. Also internet connection on web pages is slower and flash goes out on pasrts of pages that play anything. Most of all, now all flash games give me a white screen while preloading until fully uploaded, instead of the normal game looking screen with a loading bar. Impossible to tell if the preloading halted and I have to reload the page if it’s just a white screen. In some games, the game graphics also go white in between the units and background when several units are in one spot on games where you send out things to fight. None of these things, and never the preloading thing, were nearly this bad of a problem before updating from 8.0 to 8.1. Malwarebytes hasn't shown anything either. What’s up with this and how I can remedy it?

Sounds like it could be driver incompatibilities. I would attempt running a program like driver booster 3 to see if that resolves the issue, I use that religiously for new pc updates. Good luck
