I've brought a new PC and everything worked fine until couple days ago my games randomly started freezing and i don't know if its my drivers or something..
System Specs
Intel Core i7-9700k 3.6 Ghz
GTX 1070ti 8GB
HyperX Fury 2x8 16Gb 2400MHz DDR4
AsusPrime z370-PII
EVGA 800W 80+
Cooler Master Masterliquid 240mm
AeroCool Quartz RGB Case

Can someone please tell me why ? Thanks !

It could also be a problem with your memory. Check your memory to see if all of the memory is showing up and at the correct frequency.

You can use XMP to set the memory to the labeled frequency and timings, if you haven't done so already.

The motherboard monitoring utility will display details of the memory. Or you can use CPU-Z under the memory tab.

I've tried everything you said but my games still freeze :/

As I said they are usually software related, Windows system file could be corrupted. The BIOS may be corrupted.

Update the motherboard chipset driver and BIOS. They can be downloaded here.

I've opened up Task Manager and quickly switch to it once my game freezes and i realised that my disk usage is at 100% whenever it freezes, any way to fix that ?

I have two Kingstone SSD's. One which came with the PC and one that i brought from Ebay to have more storage for games. Turns out that the SSD that i brought from Ebay is fake which caused freezing problems.
