Why do people say MSI is the best in production of computer parts?

I wanted to build up a pc, and I made up a list of parts. I personally prefer ASUS computer parts, idk why! Maybe because of beauty and the most beautiful RGB that I’ve ever seen.
But most of my friends are telling me that MSI computer parts have the best performance, the best cooling system (MSI motherboards) and the most life time. Can someone please tell me if these are true? and if there are another reasons please mention those.
(I’m kinda new at this, so I’m sorry if I wrote something wrong)

I avoid anything made by MSI based strictly off the experiences that I and a great many others have had in years past, regardless that some claim they've cleaned up those quality control issues, except when it comes to graphics cards. I'd recommend an MSI card as readily as I would one from any other brand. Never known them to have serious issues with QC in that area, but when it comes to other components, I still see a significantly higher number of problems both here in user threads, elsewhere on the web and in my personal dealings with people's systems. Enough to still make me lean towards avoiding them unless it's not possible to get the same or better quality at the same price from another brand.

Pretty much staying strictly with...
It depends on the component in question. Every brand has good products, and products that arent so good.
For example, MSI used to have some serious quality control issues on their older motherboards, but their graphics cards had some amazing coolers at the exact same time.

I would not say one brand is "better" than the other, you just have to compare your specific choices. Personally, if you feel safe going ASUS (a solid choice) then go with that. Unless they can give you a solid reason as to why one is better than the other, ignore it.

Pretty much staying strictly with ASUS and ASRock on motherboards these days. I've usually had good luck in the past with Gigabyte motherboards, but the Gaming 5 board I had, and asking around, seems quite a few others among the mods and veteran members here sort of supports the idea that there are some things lacking on them that can be had on the other two brands on equally tiered products.

Much may depend on what is available, at what prices, in the region where you live. MSI might be a lot less expensive and have a bigger market presence in your region than other brands. In that case it might make more sense.
