Why does arma 2 not work?

Hello everyone,
I installed ARMA 2, only to click the play button it goes to 'preparing to play ARMA 2' and then closes that box then does nothing.
I re-installed ARMA 2 with no effect.

My system specs are fine with it, they are even reccomended.

What's happening? ='(

same with mine mate i downloaded it and it said re-install and i re-installed it and it never worked

Does any error show up, or does it just go away just like that?
Do what HEXiT told you to.
