[SOLVED] why does authy gererat codes wihtout network ?

I just started using this app and I dont have cellular or wifi on and it 's generating cods that work for login on acct's. WHY AND HOW ?

When you first set up the 2FA in authy you get a seed from the website you're setting up 2FA for. The app can then use this seed to generate login codes. The seed is all that it needs (and possibly the time, depending on the particular implementation), which is why it can do it without connecting to the internet.

Why? It's a method of two factor authentication. I makes your account more secure.
