Board is B550 Aorus Pro with a Ryzen 9 3900X on a NH-D15 cooler. Latest BIOS update, latest AMD chipset drivers, Ryzen Balanced power plan.
Whenever I enable "Global C-States Control" in the BIOS, or leave it on Auto, my system shuts down/reboots at idle. Since C-states are CPU power saving states I can only assume it somehow put my entire CPU to sleep rather than most of the cores.
Is there any way to fix this? I do not get the shutdowns when C-states are disabled.
Does having C-states disabled turn off XFR2 for my CPU?
