[SOLVED] Why does every game run completely fine with the exception of Minecraft?

Hi, recently I've changed my GPU from a GTX 770 2gb, to a RX 580 4gb. Every game I've played with the Rx 580 has played incredibly well with the exception of Minecraft. Before switching out the GTX 770 with the Rx 580, I was able to play Minecraft with upwards of 100+ fps, now that I've installed the RX 580, I'm only seeing about 60 fps. Why are my frames so low?

CPU: AMD FX-8350

RAM: 32 GB DDR3 @ 668 MHz

MOBO: 970 PRO Gaming/Aura

Storage: 223GB KINGSTON

SA400S37240G (SATA-2 (SSD))

931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARX-00N0YB0 (SATA )

GPU: Radeon RX 580 4GB

I hate to say it as an AMD fan but Minecraft is a single core demanding game and whatever is AMD specially zen 1 and before doesn't get along well enough with minecraft. Until a few months ago I was using the exact same RX 580 4gb, it's a good card. Games are more cpu and gpu demanding with time, I perhaps never played minecraft but I guess it is time for you my friend to get a newer cpu. Did you uninstall the old gpu correctly? It might have been that, you could try Intelligent Standby List cleaner to help with the lag and stutters if you don't want to get a new cpu or perhaps overclock the cpu a little more with the same voltage (to be on safe gorunds) using Ryzen master also you could use optifine which helps Minecraft setting overall. I am incline to believe that if you uninstall and re-install Gpu drivers would help or fix the problem

Thanks for the advice. I have optifine installed and I'm pretty sure I correctly uninstalled the nvidia driver and installed the AMD one.

Then I guess its time for the Cpu to retired, if you are afraid to change the cpu let me tell you that it is the easiest part, maybe a R7 2700 would cost 100? And if you play games like Minecraft then it would get you another 3-4 years

I was actually planning on making a completely new build in general. I've been buying parts here and there. But I can't really complete it until the RTX 3080 is in stock. So I've just been chilling with this build.

RTX 3080? Nice... Well you could use free software to help with your MC problems until you get the final component for your new rig, what drive is MC storage?

Got an SSD too? Maybe try to run minecraft by putting it on your SSD.

The 60FPS could also be explained by AMD FreeSync maybe.
Could you also maybe state your monitor's refreshrate?

Yeah! no problem. My main monitor has a refresh rate of 144hz and my secondary monitor is 60hz
