Why does it look like this?

Hello there,

I have recently got windows 8 and now whenever I boot my computer up form when its been shutdown the desktop looks like this:

See how it looks kind of smallish and wrong...

And when I open something up like File Explorer or Control Panel the moue pointer is in the wrong place!

When I sign out and back in its fine though!

Please help me

May want to run a Virus check and a Malware, could be something loading at start up, but gets turned off when you sign out and since system is already running doesn't reload at a simple login

Its hard to explain... Its like if the mouse pointer is resting on my USB in file explorer, if I clicked it would open the search bar for for example.

Its like.... The mouse pointer is in the right place. But the computer thinks I'm pointing a little higher to the left!

I think it's some resolution problem.
