Why does it say merom

I just got me E6300 and its and everything works fine but cpu-z says that is it a pentium m/Merom isn't that a laptop cpu. What is going on?

Just mis-identifying it. Don't worry about it.

Is it saying you have a Merom or a Pentium M? They are two different processors.
