When I close iTunes, it will open my disc drive on my Windows 10 PC. Any idea why? If the tray is already open, it won't close it however, it just won't do anything.

Solution
As near as I can determine not much can be done about the automatic ejection. Historically most apps using a CD/DVD would do an eject on the optical drive just to remind the user to remove the media.

iTunes is obsolete and there are ongoing transitions in both the Apple and Microsoft Worlds.

Here is an older link to offer some background and insight:

Do not know what your overall situation is with respect to music and media.

However, you probably need to take a look at it all and consider using another player as necessary for your situation and requirements.

Anything you'd recommend? I use iTunes because of how simple and seamless it is. I absolutely love it, nothing I have found even comes close to how sleek and user-friendly iTunes is. Maybe that's changed in 8+ years? :p
