Currently I've search all of the 5670 card and it has no required 6 pins. Did I buy the fake one? Or did the salesman cheated me or factory fault?

and another question is.. what does Extra power (6pins) do to the GPU is it important??
HELP! :(

it will perform like 5670 thats why they branded it as 5670 not 5770. If it performed better than 5670 then they would have surely sold the card as 5770 in higher price (Why a company will sell a better card in lesser price). any other difference can be traced only by performance comparison u can use fraps for measuring fps in games and then post it here (with all the graphics setting of the said game) and I can compare with mine xfx5670. then u may definitely know is it better than real 5670 or not. And please dont use battlefield 3 as the...

some things are higher than 5670 like in 5770 e.g transistor count 1.04 billion in 5770 (same as yours). your card is originally manufactured by ati not powercolor (watch subvendor category yours has ati aib mine in xfx.) your memory is down sized due its instability with ddr 3 memory 5670 has 1000Mhz as default yours in 667.

from the observation you can make your own conclusion

your default clock should have been higher as it is juniper gpu. as i said it was downgraded from 5770 to 5670 due to instability with ddr 3 memory

So what's the real answer? is it just a mix of ati 5670 and 5770? or test? and why do they sell it tho? and my box is powercolor but what you've said it's ati company who build that one.

i didnt say the card was built by ati aib it was written in your gpu z screenshot (subvendor category). Your card is ok. its just a downgraded version of 5770(thats why the 6pin connector) which is a great card. you may get better performance than 5670 sometimes. compare the gpuz of mine and yours. yours show juniper gpu which confims it that its a 5770 not 5670. if it was 5670 it would show redwood. your should work just fine. dont be shy to tell people that u have 5770 in price of 5670....

Is my GPU medium end card then?

@Fajardokier: Its hard to say where it fits. In terms of shaders, you got 640 which is 240 (60%) more than the 5670. With GPU clock same at 775 you should get better performance except for the slower Memory clock of 667Mhz instead of 1000 on the normal 5670. Overall I think you will get better performance than ordinary 5670. If you can OC the RAM then you could get more from it.

PS: To get better/more specific screen shot for GPU-Z or any window, click on the window & press "Alt"+"Prt Sc" & you can get without the whole desktop in the image.

due to limitation of bandwidth of ddr3 21.3gbs your card will give same performace as5670 which in reality have gddr5 memory 64gbs. OC is not recommended on the card as it will have instability issue with ddr3 memory

5670 is in reality a medium budget end card which can play all games in 1080p resolution but with turning off the dx11 eye candy and anti aliasing. Said from my personal experience.

So this is my last question... what is the positive that my GPU is better than 5670 (which I thought is mine) and the negative side of the GPU.

(last question and this forums is solved!

Hey, does your card work if you do not connect the 6 pin power connector? My PSU doesnt have a 6 pin. And itz a 300W PSU. Can I get this thing to work on my system if I only connect the PCIE slot?? will it draw power from there?
