My boot priority in my uefi on asus mobo has my ssd listed twice: https://imgur.com/a/p1Mh5 Why does one have windows boot manager before the name of drive? Is this normal? Also my C drive is listed as disk 1 while my D drive is listed as disc 0, will this cause problems as well? I had to reinstall windows due to errors and had to reformat my main C drive. While doing this I left both drives plugged in. Thank you for your help!

Solution
Your system is installed in UEFI mode.
You can safely disable legacy boot in BIOS. It is not needed.
If you do that, windows boot manager will be the only boot option.

Disk numbers don't matter.

Only my samsung SSD had windows os on it. I used the windows usb drive when reinstalling windows.

Yes - it's normal.
Windows boot manager - is UEFI boot entry.
Second one is legacy boot entry.

It doesn't matter. No problems because of this.

Can you post screenshot from Disk Management?

So should I have the Windows boot manager 1st or the other one first?

Why did my disk numbers switch when reinstalling window?
