Question Why does my Chromebook shut down after closing the lid ?

When I close the lid of my chromebook, and leave for a few minutes, when I come back, the chromebook has shut down(losing all my tabs). This also often happens when the computer idles to sleep.
I have checked my power settings, and both the settings are on SLEEP when lid is closed and SLEEP after idling.
Has anyone else experienced this/solved this?

Still nobody knows... I have more info. When my Chromebook updates, it will do this for a few days, and then mysteriously stop.

Being a Chromebook - have you tried Power washing?

Yes. It did not help.

This is a recurring problem I experience even though I have already tried doing a Powerwash and a Recovery. I am looking for a specific solution to the problem, as I seem to experience it all the time.
