I am trying to find printer that will work with black Ink only and not use up my color in whe printing only black doc.

Get a laser jet printer for black only printing, a lot cheaper per page.

I am trying to find printer that will work with black Ink only and not use up my color in whe printing only black doc.

Ink jet printers will use color ink even while printing black. It makes the black look blacker I guess.
There should be a way in the printer software to make sure it only uses the black ink.

Also, each time you turn the printer on and hear those start-up sounds the printer is briefly clearing old ink from the print head, which uses a tiny amount of ink each time.
