Question Why does my computer disconnect certain applications from the internet?

For some reason i will be playing a video game online and be on Teamspeak with my friends and I lose connection to Teamspeak and still be playing online. Same happens the other way around. any ideas why this could be happening? i am hard wired in not on wifi.

Just games - no other applications?

The router's logs (if available and enabled) may provide some insight

Who manages your network router? Work with that person to check the router's logs.

And you can do some checking on your computer as well via Reliability History/Manager. May be some error codes and warnings that correspond with the connection losses.
