Hello, my computer intermittently crashes with the BSOD after some windows updates. The last time this happened, I brought my computer to a technician who just did a hard reset and it seemed to have fixed the problem. Around 1.5 years later, this happens again.

I tried doing a system restore to before the update, but it kept updating itself automatically.
I uninstalled the updates, but the problem persisted.
I did a soft factory reset, and I think the problem improved but after a few crashes, the problem was just as bad as before
I did a hard factory reset to wipe everything off the hard drive, but again the problem still does not disappear. Wtf is wrong?!

I have a Lenovo Legion Tower 5i that I didn't make any modifications to, and I am running Windows 11.
I didn't overclock anything.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I would initially see if your system is pending any BIOS updates. Then manually download all relevant drivers for your prebuilt system using the serial number in Lenovo's support site. Store the drivers on a pen drive.

You should consider reinstalling the OS after recreating the bootable USB installer for Windows 11 using Windows Media Creation Tools, reinstall the OS from scratch.

Make sure you've updated your BIOS. Then download and update the pending drivers on Iobit Driver Booster app from it's official website. If you still experience issues you should consider checking corrupted files on your PC.

Using:

If you still experience problems after this then you have to install relevant drivers for your system from lenovo's support website as shown on first reply. Create the Bootable USB Drive of Windows using Media Creation Tool or Rufus. Then, store the drivers on the bootable drive. Install Windows from bootable drive.

Hope this helps! Thanks!
