Question Why Does my computer restart without updating?

So, I haven't had a problem with my custom build PC for 3 years. That was until 2 weeks ago, my computer restarted, without any updates or warning. After the PC restarted, only the logo of my Republic of Gaming Logo appeared. Afterwards, it went straight to a black screen. Everything was still running, but nothing was displayed on my screen. It recently turned back on for a couple of days, only to happen again a few days ago. So would this be a software, hardware, driver, or cable problem?

My specs:

-MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen B350 DDR4 VR Ready HDMI USB 3 CFX ATX Motherboard (B350 TOMAHAWK)
- AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor
-Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin
-ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG Strix Graphics Card (STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING)
-EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G1, 80+ GOLD 1000W.
- Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Always expect RAM first. Have you tested that?

No, I haven't. But, I think another problem might be that I was trying to use the SLI function of both GTX 1080s, not realizing that my motherboard can only support 2- Way AMD Crossfire compatible GPUs. However, I will run a diagnostics test for my RAM, thanks for the help Tennis2!
