why does my computer shut down when i am playing online games

When i was playing online game, maybe 10-15min into the game my computer will power down instantly. i am wondering if its my mb thats doing it

Does it do the same thing when you're playing a video file or a dvd at, say, full screen? Maybe you're cpu is overheating and your computer is shutting down to prevent damage? Just a thought. Has it done this before or at any other time (doing something completely different) or is new?

It sounds like the video card is overheating or the system in general. Try running HWMonitor or some other free program to monitor your temperatures.

nope, Its only when i am playing online game, any sorts of online game. It will happen every time i play online games. It has never happened before. I will trying playing w/o full screen.

I got a software to monitor my temperature and its completely normal.

Processor- adm phenom(tm) II x4 945 processor 3.00 GHz
Memory- 4.0GB
System type- 32 bit
i am guessing that i should install the 64bit instead but i am not sure
