Question Why does my controller not work anymore

So I'm trying to use my PS2 Controller on pc again (Not going to dish out £50 on a ps4 controller or £30+ on a ps3) and it is showing up in the devices and printers but when I right click it, it no longer shows up here and says ok on the status bit. I don't know what happened, it worked a while back on my USB 3.0 Ports and now it does not work on USB 2.0 or 3.0. I have tried a few things to fix it but it just doesn't seem to work. The controller worked fine on my Windows 7 but now Windows 10 seems to have broken it, even though it worked in the past. Any solutions? Or should I just buy a PS3 controller. I just find Xbox controllers too weird after using playstation controllers for a while. Screenshot:

did you install any software to run the PS2 controller? Was it scarlet Crush?

if so, I have seen many people have problems with that software recently, it hasn't been updated in 4 years so its possible win 10 is just ignoring the drivers now. -
