Hi there, I'm new on here.

I have an SSD as my primary drive for OS and such.
I then have a secondary mechanical drive for storage.
Whenever I start my computer the secondary drive is ?mounted? but not awake? I have to click on the hard drive in the file explorer, in order for other applications to get access to it, fx my cloud backup or even pycharm to access projects.
My OS is Manjaro 20.2 Nibia, KDE 5.76.0 / Plasma 5.20.4

I hope someone can help with this, so it automatically spins up or be activated when I start my computer like expected.

In advance, thank you for your help!

I don't know anything about the OSes you are running, but I would first look up any kind of HDD Sleep mode. Windows had the ability to spin down HDD's that are inactive and then it takes a while when you want to go use them again. That is what I would look for first.
