My laptop model number is 14-g017AU and it is Hewlett-Packard Notebook. It seems to restart mostly when I move my laptop and place it down but one thing always happens, when it restarts the wifi is off and the laptop is trying to connect to ethernet. It is really annoying when it restarts as I am in high school and I quite often lose work. When the laptop is trying to connect to ethernet I run the troubleshooter and it says the ethernet connection is bad when I am trying to use Wifi. Please Help.

Is the charger being disconnected accidentally when you move the laptop, or is it already running on battery when the shutdown happens?

As for the WiFi, try reinstalling or updating your WLAN driver. There might be a bug with it upon sudden power loss.
It is already on battery power when it happens and I have uninstalled all wifi adaptors through device manager.

Don't go through Device Manager. Try the OEM driver or go through the vendor's site for the driver if you can. If not the driver, it could be the Windows service that's bugging out; might be worth running Windows repairs.

The sudden restarts could be a bad battery connection. See if the battery terminals need cleaning, or maybe look into a new battery. We ran into a similar issue here, turned out to be a fitting issue (the battery ever so slightly was not making good contact with the terminals).

I have tried to fix the problem through windows and it can't find the problem. It could be the battery but batteries cost a lot and I would rather fix the problem than buy a battery.

!Update!
My laptop seems to have stabilised with the rare occasion of it restarting, but I still ant to know why the bluetooth wifi adaptor seems to be the problem. Not the battery.
