Question Why does my monitor audio frequently disable itself when my computer idles?

I've got an Asus VG248 monitor running via HDMI connection to a custom PC. When I leave the computer idle for a while, the audio for it will disable itself occasionally - the time and conditions seem to vary, so I can't pinpoint exactly what causes it.

Fixing it's easy - it's the only thing in my entire life that the windows troubleshooter actually resolves (I don't even have to go all the way through - the second I select the device it works again). It When I do it, it lists the fixed issue as the device being muted. Obviously it's not the end of the world since I can fix it, but it's really annoying to have to do a few times a day (especially when games will regularly not recognize the audio after fix until I restart them).

I have a similar problem with a Bluetooth speaker system. The solution I've found is to do a MUTE from the source of the sound. It doesn't disconnect, and starts working again as soon as I unmute.

Thanks for the response! I have no problem fixing it - I'm trying to keep it from auto-muting in the first place.
