Why does my monitor get no signal?

Specs:
430w evga power supply
Intel core i5 cpu
1 Hyper ddr4 ram
Msi GeForce hrs 1060 gaming x 6g gpu
And a msi b250m gaming pro motherboard (had 1 bent cpu pin that I bent back) this is my first pc build please help I have no clue why it won't get a signal, I've tried with and without the gpu and no luck.please help.

are you getting any signs of life at all, ie. fans spinning, lights on mobo or on the case, etc.?

Yes, everything turns on, lights and fans the whole work, and I know the monitor works too

do you see anything on screen at any point/hear a beeping coming from inside the computer?

Also, because it gets the best of us, are you sure the monitor is on and on the right input for how it's connected?

Nothing comes on screen after the words no signal goes away, and I've made sure several times that cords are in the right spots. I don't hear any beeps (but I'm not sure I have the speaker in the right spot)

the beeps would come directly from your motherboard, or a speaker cable attached to the motherboard.

If it isn't any of those things, my guess would be that bent pin. Take it apart and see if that pin is even more bent/snapped off. RMA the board if that's still a possibility

basically return the motherboard. tell the manufacturer that it won't boot. they may replace it or fix it if you ship it to them
