Hi

My screen somestimes goes black for 2-5 seconds when I'm gaming, and comes back to normal.
Its not something I can provoke and its happens now and then.

I just build my whole PC from scratch, all parts are new.

Ryzen 7800x3d
ASRock 670e RS PRO
6700 XT radeon Sapphire
32 gb ddr 5 ram 6000 mhz
1 tb 990 samsung SSD
850 watt PSU Corsair SHIFT

I installed windows 10, haven't bought and registered a key yet (though I highly doubt this would have any effect).
Chipset, bios and GPU drivers are all the newest.

Can anyone give me some pointers or help me problem solve this?

Does this happen ONLY when you are playing games, or even in desktop mode while browsing the internet and doing basic tasks ? Have you checked the Monitor's cable as well ?

Which connection are you using ? HDMI/DP ? Try DP. Just make sure there is no loose connection with the monitor as well as the GPU PCIe power cables.

It only happens when I'm gaming, not when I'm browsing og watching stuff like youtube or videos.

I'm using HDMI, will try DP later tonight.

What refresh rate are you running at? I had this issue with a 6700XT going into a 144 Hz monitor, although it happened not only when gaming. It was fixed by changing from HDMI to DP. Even though HDMI was supposed to be okay with the resolution/refresh rate and the cable was a decent one, it couldn't really hack it for some reason.

I guess if you check on a TV at a low refresh rate that might tell you if it's something similar.

My monitor is capped at 144 Hz. I will turn my house upside down in search for a DP cable. Does quality with these cables matter at lot btw?

DisplayPort and HDMI are digital standards, so as long as a cable meets the standard it makes zero difference whether it's a basic solidly-made cable or something 10x the price with silver wires and nitrogen-infused polythene outer dielectric layers. Where you need to be careful is with very cheap no-name plastic-bagged cables from certain stores or online retailers, where they may not actually meet the standard and so fall over when pushed hard.

I got my DP cable for about £10 from a bricks & mortar store.
