random bad psu
so i play games a lot and ever since i got this pc this problem has been bothering me more and more. every time i play a game and the gpu exceeds over 75 degrees (or over 120-150v of usage) and stays like that for 20-30 minutes, the monitor loses display, showing "no signal connected". i try replugging the monitor cables (i use a vga to dvi adapter, since i only have vga on my monitor) and it just displays "no signal connected" again...
recently this issue has fixed itself but not completely, now instead of showing no signal on 75 degrees, it shows no signal on 85 degrees...
i tried a different monitor with a dvi port (the monitor isnt mine) and im fairly confident now that its because of my monitor or the adapter. every time it shows no signal, the vga to dvi adapter becomes very hot.. is there a simple fix i dont know of for this problem, or do i have to buy a new monitor or even gpu?
