[SOLVED] Why does my motheroard have a red light on cpu

The cpu has no bent pins I just got it today and the motherboard has a red led light on “cpu” someone please help me!

Check page 43 of your manual. They are EZ Debug LED's. If the light stays on there is a problem, if it lights up and then goes out that is normal.

How long is it supposed to be red for until it goes out because mine go out after like 15 seconds.

The first thing I'd try is checking every cable connection, although I'm quite certain you've already tried that.

Secondly, try reseating your CPU as I've encountered a few ryzen builds with the CPUs not seated correctly posting the same problem as yours. After aligning the triangle give it a GENTLE wiggle and check every corner of the CPU to see if it's properly seated in there. While you're there, verify if other components are seated properly as well.

Also, try running with the bare minimums... 1 stick of RAM, no storage drives.

There is no set time. The CPU light will stay on while the system checks the status of the CPU. The light will go out when it is finished checking and everything is OK.
