Why does my PSU power surge?

So I upgraded my psu and gpu in June. Hd 5450>gtx 650ti boost. Off-brand 450W>Thermaltake tr-2 600W. Some times when I play certain games (Bf3,Arctic combat,RaceRoom Experience) all of the sudden, my whole pc just shuts down. My MB comes up with a error message saying my psu surged and my pc shut down to save the components. It just now happened again. I just spawned in a bf3 server, played for 30s then died. Respawned, ran 10ft then it shut off. My psu is rated at 23A on the 12v rail and the 650 boost needs 24A. Would this cause it to shut down? Here's my full pc:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1ze6f

What would happen if I turned off the power surge mode on my MB? Would it totally fry all my stuff? Would this be caused by heat? I have the fan facing down sucking air in. I also have a game case propping the case up so it can get more air. Any suggestions? (sorry for grammar mistakes, i'm really tired.)

Most likely. It probably doesn't even give you 23A.

Possibly could fry everything. Definitely would fry something.

No, it wouldn't be caused by heat. Also, your top/back fans should be exhaust, bottom/front should be intake.
