Question Why does my RAM speed say 2133mhz instead of 3000mhz?

My motherboard is Gigabyte A320M-S2H V2-CF (AM4) and CPU is Ryzen 5 2600x. I have 1 stick of 8gb RAM which is 3000mhz but on task manager etc it says it is only 2133mhz. The motherboard cpu and ram were all bought in a bundle together and it's the exact same thing with my brother

You need to go into the BIOS and select A-XMP\DOCP Profile.

Go into the BIOS and enable AXMP (or XMP/DOCP or whatever it's called) to get the memory to run at the correct speed.

You have to enable AXMP in BIOS to use the OC option for the RAM.
