Question Why does my Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 sound so bad?

I recently got myself a Razer Hammerhead Pro V2 from Amazon because I got tired of using headsets.

I'm trying it out after quite some time using the HyperX Cloud II, and I am not a fan of the sound signature, everything sounds very high pitched or 'sharp' and it hurts my ears. I mainly play FPS games like CS:GO and Apex Legends and everytime I shoot the sound just hurts my ears. Tried with the HyperX sound card that comes with the Cloud II and it sounds the same.

Could there be a defect with the earpiece or is there any way to fix this issue?

The weather here's really hot all the time, and like I said I got tired of wearing headsets because they feel uncomfortable after a while - because I sweat a lot and it hurts my ears after a while too
