Why does my Samsung V-NAND SSD 860 EVO 4TB reads as a Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB SCSI? When I hook it up it reads as a scsi and I can't do anything with it because I need it to read as a sata drive in my win10 system.
Have you plugged it internally anywhere? If so, does it show up at 500 as well, or 3.8TB or w/e?but it reads like a 500GB SCSI drive. I don't have connections for scsi
I wanted to use it as a Regular 4TB SSD drive. I put it in an external case and hook it up via USB 3.0Are you connecting it directly to a SATA port? Do you have RAID enabled or any other changes to default setup? What motherboard are you using and what port is it in?

It may be the external adapter doesn't support that SSD. Can you link to the case you are using ?but it reads like a 500GB SCSI drive. I don't have connections for scsi
