How can I disable it?If you have been using blender and etc. and you were hitting page file, (high ram usage, then goes to hard drive) that could be sign of page file.
OFC you can disable it.
Install either WinDirStat or WizTree |
Run as Administrator, selecting only the drive in question. |
Post a screencap here. |
Okay thanks, I just moved page file to my other drive instead of removing it.https://tunecomp.net/win10-page-file-disable/
I really dont know what are pros and cons of page file, you may google them.(Im not being rude fyi, i just dont know)
Yeah, it’s my boot drive but I like to use blender on it. I’m planning to upgrade to a 1TB.120GB is way too small to house Windows & Blender (in addition to other apps). In addition, disabling the paging file is a sure fire way to system crashes/corruption. Windows requires that a paging file be present at all times. The only real fix here is a larger drive, at least 256GB, and preferably 512GB. Drives are cheap these days.
