Why does my taskbar look like this?

Well, it looked like windows 7 taskbar before.

Yes it changed because you downloaded Windows 10. It is supposed to be like this and there is no issue from what I can see.

Sounds like all you're missing is the Cortana/Search bar in the taskbar. Press the Windows button and type 'Cortana'. You will see ''Settings for Cortana'' or something along those lines pop-up, open it and enable it.

You can pin programs to the taskbar be right clicking them and selecting 'Pin to taskbar'.

One thing you can do is go to your personalize settings and go to colors and pick a color for your desktop scheme and it will change from black to which ever you chose, just about from that there isn't anything to do with windows 10 scheme. Unless your are to download rocketdock or something that's what you get i'm sad too....

Ok i found the answer, i was in tablet mode, WTF? Who the hell wants to be in a tablet mode in a custom pc built desktop PC?
