Why does my ViewSonic VA1938wa monitor say "Out Of Range"?

Once per day or so, my VA1938wa goes black and in the middle it says in a blue box with white letters saying "Out Of Range". To fix this, I have to force restart my computer by holding down the power button. I tried unplugging the cables and replugging them in, but that didn't help. It could be a graphics issue but I doubt it. My graphics card is the AMD Radeon HD 7850 with 2 gb of ram. If someone can help me solve this issue, that would be awesome. Thanks

So how would I solve this? Usually when this is happening I am playing a game, listening to music, and sometimes am looking something up online. The resolution on my game is the same as my monitor's, but I am not sure about the aspect ratio

When I go to change my screen resolution, the max is 1366 x 768 and that is the same resolution that I use in all my games so I dont know why it says Out Of Range.

Setting the resolution where you have is as should be but you may want to play with the refresh rate as well, from the owners manual:For the best picture quality set your LCD display timing mode to:VESA 1366 x 768 @ 60Hz. It also instructs not to exceed 75Hz. Do so via your graphics card.

How do I change my refresh rate? I know what refresh rate is, but don't know how to change it.
Never mind, I figured it out and it was already at 60 so that is not the problem.
