Why does my xbox keep disconnecting from xbox live

Hello, right when I get on my xbox360 it freezes, I just fixed my router got a new one a week ago and it connects fine and just htis night I will join my friends in a party go on Minecraft Black ops 2 and then I lose connection to my friends party, then disconnect to xbox live. It is getting me really mad.

You have to make sure that your Nat is set to open and the way to do that is by enabling the Upnp setting on the router.
