Question Why does removing SSD make the BIOS disappear?

Hello people.
I hope you will be able to give me a hint of what may have happened to my notebook.
It is a Lenovo B490, with a Core i5, 8 GB, a SSD of 120 GB and a HD of 500 GB.
Windows 10 was installed on the SSD.

The note was working perfectly. I decided to remove the SSD to use on another note. I removed a bottom cover, just to release the screw that held the caddy, where the SSD was housed.
After that, when I turn on the note, it turns on, the screen lights up, but shows nothing. I would expect to see a message that there is no bootable device or something like that.
Then, when I try to enter Bios, during startup, I can't do it with any key. Nothing appears on the screen, even though it is on.
The HD remains in place, containing only files.
The only thing that occurs to me is a defect caused by static when I removed the screw from the caddy.

I put it in another notebook and I can't take it back.

Today I resumed my attempts, after leaving the notebook aside for two weeks.
Now, when I turn it on, I hear 4 equal beeps.
I removed the memory modules and replaced them one at a time, testing each slot. The beeps continue.
According to what I found on the internet, the 4 beeps can indicate problems with ram memory or something about a timer failure.
