Why does the corsairs vs450 down have an 80+ rating

I have been watching u boxing and reviews of this psu and they say that it's a good psu but it doesn't have a 80+ rating. Should I still get it?
My other choice is the antec vp450

It has an 80+ white rating, but that aside.
The RM, CX, and VS units for corsair are very cheap. They use low quality capacitors that tend to fail quite often.
