I would like to know how to get the product key that came with my computer to be valid.

Did your iBUYPOWER ship with Win 7 Home Premium? Could that product key be for a different OS version?

Is IBuyPower a royalty OEM or do they just use the "retail" OEM disks?

Where did you get the key from? The OS? The COA? And when did it tell you it was "invalid" and what exact wording does it use ?
