On my freshly installed Debian “bullseye” with WiFi card ASUS PCE-AX3000, WiFi is configured to start traditionally via ifupdown (rather than via NetworkManager). However, ping www.google.com and other network services never succeed directly after boot. They succeed only approximately 5 minutes after boot. Here are some bits of my configuration: dmesg, /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf, /etc/network/interfaces, /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf, iw dev wlan0 info, iw dev wlp179s0 info, journalctl -b, lshw -c network, lsmod. How do I get WiFi immediately upon boot, configured via ifupdown (i.e., not via NetworkManager)?
