Make a socket mATX AM3+ with a 970 or 990FX?

They sure as heck make awesome MB's for Intel - Z77?

In order to get everything you want for AM3+, you HAVE no option but to go full ATX, and that's just wrong! I do not need nor want dual GPU's, but I do want a stable mATX with the features I want (SATA3, USB3 header) for a 8350FX.

I think the manufactures are just too lazy. I cant stand the Trinity CPU's or any FM2 CPU's as they are NOT geared towards gaming or anything high performance.

most of them get insider info and info they cant post do to nda. most hardware vendors in computer parts have a 3-5 year look ahead. if you look at intel last few years there mb slots have lasted about 12-18 months before a new one dropped.
not good for mb vendors that make a new part..ramp up to meet demand and then find out 4-6 months latter the mb going to go eof. look at the asus saberthooth there z77 and z87 unit. the older z77 unit was onsale less then a year before it was replaced. in a few months intel dropping there next x9x chipset and haswell refresh. all of the older x87 mb will be going eof. with amd the top end cpus were more used in full size desk tops the apu and the x7xx cpu were used for low end gaming rigs.
