I just recently changed out several parts in my pc upgrading to
Intel Core i9-9900K
Asus Prime Z390-A
i also use windows 10 home 64bit
all is well except i can't get my ethernet to work ?
things i tried/know
in the device manager intel(r) ethernet connection (7) i219-v has an error it reads as follows.
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
to correct this i have tried two different cables
resets and power cycles
and updating my divers
trying to update my drivers has also given me problems
if i let the pc search for the best drivers on its own it tells me i already have them
however if i tell the pc exactly witch drivers to use the pc will attempt to install them only to fail and give me the following error message .
this device cannot start. (code10)
im pretty confused at this point and would really appreciate some help.
