Question Why doesn't my monitor work with my new GPU?

I bought this new GPU and i made sure that it was put in properly. However, monitor says there is no signal.

Make sure monitor is on the correct input setting?

Sometimes, if your OS can't find the driver of the newly installed GPU, you won't get the input to screen.
Try plugging into in built display and search for drivers to your new GPU.

You have connected the monitor to the gpu and not the motherboard?

I made sure i plugged into the gpu and not the motherboard. Yes, its on the right input. I tried to search for drivers for my new GPU. but I'm not sure what to do next...
