I have recently built my first PC and I have downloaded CPU-Z and when I went to the memeory tab I saw that my RAM had the speed of 2132Mhz and when I bought my RAM it said that it has the speed of 3000Mhz.
I have also tried setting the voltage up and the X.M.P profile but I've got the same result
Everytime I apply the speed of 3000Mhz in the BIOS it boots just fine , and when I am going back to CPU-Z it still says 2132,I have also tried lower frequencies but I have the same result if someone can help, please do
My PC specs are :
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 2600
GPU : RX 590 8gb
RAM: Vengeance 2x8 16GB DDR4 3000mhz
PSU: Corsair VS550

In a Windows system, right click on the wonky square and R at the same time. The Run box will appear and into that, type, msconfig and then hit the Enter key.

Click the Boot tab and Advanced Options then in the Number of processors is the maximum then check the same in the Memory box, or alter it accordingly. Click OK then in the next form, Apply and OK your way out.

Restart the machine and see if that made a difference.

On number or processors I put my CPU cores and what do I write on maximum memory?
