[SOLVED] Why doesn't new SSD show up anywhere?

Solution
I'd jump into the BIOS settings to make sure NVME (with X4 lanes if possible, given a choice of none, x2, x4) lanes are enabled for both NVME slots...(Per the manual, only one of the two main M.2 slots supports X4 lanes, so, if you only have one NVME SSD, search your manual to make sure you get the right slot, as the other would be limited to PCIe-3.0 X2 lanes of performance, or, roughly 1200 MB/sec transfers...)

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Is the new SSD the boot drive or just a data drive?

If not the boot drive what is the make and model of the existing boot drive?

Any beep codes or LED's lit on the motherboard?

What SATA ports are in use and devices are using those SATA ports?
