Hello, I am trying to connect my Z390 Designare mobo with a pen tablet display which requires a USB-C connection with Displayport ALT mode. The computer recognizes the device, but no display is shown.
I am looking through the BIOS but I can't tell what I'm supposed to be enabling or disabling. All I know is that the Discrete Thunderbolt Support option is enabled.

I also bought a displayport cable and connected my Graphics card with the motherboard just like the manual told me.

Does the thunderbolt on the Z390 Designare not support Displayport ALT mode or what am I doing wrong? I spent way too much money than I should have on this motherboard and it frustrates me to hell that the set up is not working.

If it helps, my current build is :

Motherboard : Z390 Designare
GPU : Gigabyte GTX 1660 Ti
CPU : i7 9700K
PSU : Antec 750W Gold
RAM : 32GB

The pen tablet is Wacom Cintiq Pro 16.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Well this is embarassing, I don't know how I fixed it but after an hour of fiddling with the BIOS and trying every combination of DP ports on my Graphics card, I got it to work.

I guess a newbie mistake from me, apparently DISABLING the discrete thunderbolt support in the BIOS seems to work. Either that or just messing around with the DP ports. Anyways, I kinda feel stupid for answering my own question.
